What's your WHY?

I am a product of the U.S. youth soccer system, and played at the highest level in Colorado.Yet I felt like I never received adequate coaching, and actually had a lot of bad experiences with coaches even at the college level. I reached my boiling point in college, that I quit soccer as soon as I graduated, and focused on my software engineering and boxing careers. I had so much resentment with how my soccer career turned out, that I didn't kick a ball for over 7 years. I decided to return to. soccer and coach, because I felt like my experiences could help the kids, and hopefully they can learn something and have a positive experience with the game. Essentially be the coach I never had. Working with the kids is a lot of fun, and helping them reach their goals is very rewarding.
